Re: Church Zoom Account - Multiple Users?
If I share the "Host Key" does the other member simply log into their zoom account and somehow enter in the host key, thereby allowing them to launch the meeting?? Thanks all!! To use the host key, you need to already be in the meeting. This means the meeting must be scheduled without a w...

Re: Zoom: Maximum number of attendees
If two meetings are run simultaneously, is the maximum 500 per meeting or 500 total? You can have 500 per meeting or webinar. Could a unit upgrade their Church-sponsored Zoom account to get more attendees and more features? Probably not. That would be a lot of work for the church to manage differen...

Re: Church Zoom Account and Personal Meeting ID
1) We are transitioning to using the Webinar feature of the Church Zoom account for our sacrament meetings, so this will have a unique Zoom link. When we schedule the Webinar we'll make it recurring, so members will always be able to reference the same Zoom link for sacrament meeting each week. Tha...

Re: Using Webinar Options with Entrprise Zoom Account
I am looking for an option to have a webinar where attendees have video off and mic off and have access to a "hidden chat" (Q&A option) that goes only to panelists to be curated before answering. Those options are in the Zoom Settings. You need to log into the Zoom website, choose Set...

Re: Simultaneous Language Interpretation for Stake Conference Webcast
I have a church zoom account and would like to get the language interpretation feature enabled. I contacted support and was told I need written confirmation from the account admin/owner I can have that feature. Does anyone have any idea how to go about doing that? It's already enabled on the accoun...

Re: zoom account alternating hosts
The account administrator for the Church-provided accounts is someone at Church HQ. Those of us provisioning accounts for our stake/ward don't have admin access. You can still designate alternative hosts, but they must be on the same account (meaning the Church's master account). We did that with ou...

How We Do Zoom Sacrament Meetings
We’ve been unable to meet in person since March. Our sacrament meetings have been through Zoom Webinar with all members participating from their homes. Rather than purchase Zoom Webinar licenses for each ward, the stake got 2 Webinar licenses and provided hosts for the ward sacrament meetings (2 con...

Re: Zoom Concurrent Meetings
I can think of times BC where that's happened at the Stake level for some Sundays. Getting those kinds of conflicts certainly feels like getting back to the old normal. That would be nice. It's just a coincidence this time, even though we're trying to make things as "normal" as possible. ...

Re: Zoom Concurrent Meetings
However, if I started a webinar and a meeting, it would not let me do both. That appears to be a problem with Zoom. I'll report it and see what they say. How is that an issue for church use? I would expect the webinar to only be used for something like sacrament when there would be no other meeting...

Re: Zoom Concurrent Meetings
I was trying to test concurrent meetings. I signed into a first device using the account and starting a meeting. Then, I tried to sign in on a second device using the same credentials. When I did, it signed me out on the first device because of the second sign in. I don't see how two meeting hosts ...
