Any chance that you can share the macro and that it will work with outlook 2007? Rather than using a macro, we decided to import the file into Excel and then manipulate the location using excel functions to create the resulting strings for import into lds.org. It worked, but was a hassle. Next year...

...in the future, I wonder if it would work out better to do all your scheduling in the lds.org calendar, and then export it from the lds.org calendar as an iCal file , which you then import into the commercial application for printing purposes. Yes, that's the approach we're looking at for next ti...

I seriously doubt that the calendar supports importing the locations. iCal tends to treat locations as a text fields, but in the calendar system, it has to be matched to defined objects. I think you may be right. It seems like the import should use a defined location, when a match exists. If there ...

Importing to Calendar from iCal file

After spending several days between multiple people, we're about ready to give up on working with the calendar. Here's our dilemma: We created the calendar in an external application, so it could be formatted for commercial printing with our stake directory. The calendar was exported to an iCal file...

I noticed a similar discrepancy in our numbers. Our ward had a difference of 1 in the Single Adults and Children ages 3-11 between lds.org and MLS. The difference remained even though I did a send/receive. However, once I submitted the report from MLS, the numbers on lds.org were updated to match th...

...did you click on the "Save Changes" button..." That's certainly a reasonable question. Yes, I did click on Save Changes. I even got the confirmation dialog that the changes were submitted and it can take up to 24 for them to appear. I've submitted a feedback request as well, so I'...

Good suggestion. I just tried switching from Chrome to IE. Same result. I also cleared the cache in Chrome, just in case. The changes are not showing.

"Directory visibility flags"...yes, for some of the records, I cleared the "Show in directory" flag, since those sisters wanted the leaders to have visibility, but not the general ward populace. Whether the flag was set or not doesn't seem to be a factor. None of the changes are ...

Directory changes in LDS.org not showing up.

Our visiting teachers have been collecting cell phone numbers and e-mail addresses for the sisters in the ward. They provided me (ward clerk) with the list. I entered the information in LDS.org last week, but it's still not appearing. For each change, I got the message saying it would be up to 24 ho...
