Looking for used lens for Sony VPL-EX100 projector

Hello,

We have a Sony VPL-EX100 projector in one of our buildings with a damaged projection lens. I assume that tons of buildings have this same projector. Before I buy a new lens, does anyone have a lens from a broken projector that they would like to donate to us?

Thank you!

Re: Custom ward maps displaying household names

Thank you for that information. Does this mean that we are officially banned from using Google Maps to map member locations? People have been using online mapping software for church mapping for a number of years. If memory serves, in this forum, you could even get custom software that someone had w...

Re: Custom ward maps displaying household names

Thanks for the reminder. I thought that Google Maps might qualify as an exception, given that the maps feature of lds.org is done by Google. (Note the clickable "Google" text in the bottom left-hand corner.) I assume that if we upload only last name and address, we are not giving Google an...

Custom ward maps displaying household names

As much as I like the “Maps” tool in lds.org, it lacks some important features. 1. You can’t see the household name unless you mouse over the marker. A more useful map would include the option of displaying the name next to the marker. 2. There is no way to display only a custom subset of households...

Re: Quarterly Report - Sacrament Meeting Attendance

I suppose you could also get down on the floor in the back of the chapel, get a sight line under the pews all the way to the front, count all the feet, and divide by two. :-)

Re: Quarterly Report - Sacrament Meeting Attendance

A clerk in this situation should call Church Headquarters for clarification (and backup). Theoretically, his local leaders, also, wouldn't want to cheat, and if they do, they shouldn't be leaders. In the Church, if an order is illegal or unrighteous, it carries no authority (D&C 121:37), and it ...

Re: Extending Wireless Network.

Sometimes the FM Group just won't add more WAPs. We've had luck getting old wireless routers, configuring them as WAPs, and connecting them to the local network using powerline Ethernet adapters.

Firewall upgrade: corrections/additions to instructions

The official instructions are here: https://www.lds.org/help/support/bc/clerksupport/meetinghouse-technology/pdf/Upgrading%20an%20Existing%20Meetinghouse%20Firewall.pdf Here are some corrections/additions based on my experience with four upgrades, including one building with an FHC. (I have also sub...

Antivirus software for unofficial family history computers

Hello, In our stake, a couple of buildings have unofficial FHCs. These consist of a few computers in a room at the meetinghouse that are used to teach people to do family history work. Am I allowed to put the clerk's version of Sophos antivirus on those computers? I've called IT support and local un...

Re: Windows Standard User Account and MLS

I'm waiting to see what "the letter" says about missionary access and what they need to use. Is there a letter coming with instructions? When is it expected? I'd hate to implement something on all our machines only to have to re-do it a short time later. My understanding when this was ann...
