Re: Getting Audio Connected-Concise "cliff notes" version
Here is some updated information about the Sabrent USB Audio Adapter. It can handle a much higher audio signal then I first reported if you make some adjustments on the ControlPanel of the computer. The attached PDF shows the USB adapter's maximum input for various settings on the ControlPanel. Also...

Re: USB audio converters
We got the following Sabrent device and used it today. ........ But we still had distortion with louder speakers or those that were very close to the mic. I have seen variation in signal level for RecordOut jacks in different bldgs. Some are 1v - 1.4v pk for a loud speaker. That's just too high for...

Re: Need something better than email links
Our stake maintains a single web page each bldg in the stake (4 wards per bldg) on google "sites". Sites is part of the free Google suite of apps. Everyone was sent an email with a link to the webpage. Each week the member just goes back to the same webpage. Changes are done by the stake c...

Re: RecordOut Jack to MEVO Camera is EASY
Thanks, that's a good idea. Our wireless mic system is the Audio Technica R2100AD. Ours has a receiver that has XLR or 1/4 inch jack out and a single lavaliere transmitter. I found the manual online and I saw an attenuation switch which could switch between attenuation of 0 dB or -12 dB with a defa...

Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings
On another note the building where the audio is good, it is running a laptop on Windows 10 while the building where it is not is a desktop running Windows 7. I tried going through the sound settings in the control panel for the computer running Windows 7 and the levels don't seem to have an affect ...

Re: I need the specs from a Teradek Vidiu Pro power supply, please
. . . can you tell me the specs on the power supply? Use the old power supply. According to a (four-year-old) Teradek Article , they use the same power supply and cable. Polarity is center tip positive and outer ring ground. Per the Specs in the User Manual: http://cdn.teradek.com/Public/VidiUPro/D...

Re: Mevo stopped working
I had the same situation happen to me. I suspected the WiFi splash thing was the problem, so I tested going through my own WiFi access point connected to the church network and that worked. ................ Another option that would work would be to use the ethernet adapter. However, it is an addit...

Re: Help! Trying to connect to the chapel sound system
We also have one building with a broken "record out" jack. Going to ask the FM group to get it fixed, as tracing the cable with a telecom tone generator hasn't yielded any results. In the mean time, a long mic cable from the rack to the stream encoder does the trick. TRS jacks and plugs a...

Re: RecordOut Jack to MEVO Camera is EASY
Our chapel does not have a RecordOut jack. It's an old building. I had an issue because I was connecting a wireless mic system to the Mevo via similar cables listed in the PDF but the Mevo defaulted to Line Level when it saw a TRS plug. I had to manually change it to Mic Level and then we could hea...
