Re: Some thoughts on the web centric leadership resources

Third: I think that some tweaks to the permissions are in order, and I don't know who to talk to about it. For instance: As an STS, I can't view the broadcast schedules. I had to ask the stake clerk to add me as an "assistant stake clerk", as well as "assistant stake clerk: Stake Tec...

Re: Webcast 3.0 is out

Could we start thinking about the receiving end of these broadcasts? Consistency with a player is the absolute most important thing in a successful broadcast that can't be controlled from the Stake Center / Webcast broadcast site. Yes, we have been aware of this, and we are working towards a soluti...

Re: Webcast 3.0 is out

One of the cool new features of Webcast 3.0 is the ability to configure the Teradek VidiU once and then it will configure automatically for all your events going forward. You will no longer need to configure the Teradek VidiU (e.g. copying/pasting codes into the Teradek) every time you create a new ...

Re: Time Shifting

Did you know there's a LDS Broadcast Post Event Survey? Of course. I have used it several times. As with most surveys, it is adequate but does not ask the questions I would like to answer. Re: Camera w/ mount for Stake Confrence

The standard the Church uses for mounted camera is the Sony EVI-D80.

The page on MHTech.lds.org shows the standard webcast equipment: https://www.lds.org/help/support/webcast-products?lang=eng

Re: Limit on viewing stake conference webcast in homes?

There used to be a section on the webcast portal when scheduling an event where you needed to specify a range of how many connection including remote sites that you would need.
The new service is now scalable so does not ask this anymore.
