Re: MLS on Home Computer

Because of the outdated birth dates, you'll find that without a lot of manual tweaking, your Primary will be nonexistent. Also, CUBS can't be simulated, so financial training will be lacking key elements You could practice entering many child of record baptisms, and ordinations to the priesthood ;)...

Re: MLS on Home Computer

What makes the test data useless? For training purposes on MLS you can still demonstrate how to record ordinances, process finances, handle tithing settlement, etc. The test unit data itself simply allows you to use MLS to familiarize yourself with its functions without actually performing any actio...

Re: MLS on Home Computer

For training purposes there are test units which you can import to MLS. That is the only way of using MLS on a home computer that is still in accord with the policy referenced by russellhltn.

What information are you trying to access from home that isn't available on lds.org?

Re: Come Follow Me?

It looks like there is only the online version at this moment which would mean you would have to print the PDF version to have a hard copy. store.lds.org only displays this message, New Youth Curriculum The new youth curriculum for 2013, Come, Follow Me, is available in the following languages: Chin...

Re: Organizational Flowcharts of Who is Serving in Which Cal

ParrishAli, I very much like your idea. I served for a while in the bishopric of a small ward (small enough to be a branch) and the bishop and I created a chart very much like yours. We did it in an effort to make sure that we were meeting needs and staffing the ward as best we could. We also used t...

Re: Clerk for two branches but can only see one on lds.org

Wow, that is an interesting problem. I don't see any option where switching units would be possible (for a ward/branch clerk). I assume that you only have access to the unit where your record resides. First, I would make sure that you have done this, https://www.lds.org/callings/melchizedek-priestho...

Re: Gospel art app?

It looks like there is a project in the works ( https://tech.lds.org/wiki/LDS_Art ). There are some third party apps available for ipad ( https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lds-gospel-art-book/id458213099?mt=8 ) and android( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.standardworks.gospelartbook&...

Re: Member List Print - Not Correct Order

For what it is worth, I tried to replicate your problem in Firefox 18.0.2 and couldn't. The *.pdf form for Clerk Resources->Organizations->Young Single Adults (18-30) matched what was on screen. I'm running Windows 7 x64 with Adobe Reader 10.1.5. All other organizations I've looked at also produce a...

Re: Unable to update Google Chrome on clerk computer

Not to be pedantic but have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling? If it doesn't work after that then you might try to uninstall it with revo uninstaller. There is a free version which I have had a good deal of success with. It runs the stock uninstaller and then searches your app data ...

Re: Does the Church publish to Kindle?

That is a good question. After looking at the Amazon page for the item you mentioned it does seem that it is from the Church. Under the projects heading, there is a project entitled Digital Books and Magazines and it references making e-books available on Amazon. I don't know why it costs 0.99$ but ...
