My ward uses the ward website system extensively, especially for sending out information via email. I have been somewhat frustrated because it has been very spotty. Earlier this week I tried to send out a major announcement, only to find out that the system was not really delivering the messages. T...

I have been using the e-cards feature as a selling point and a missionary tool while teaching people how to use the ward web site. Since this feature is not presently available, could we at least show a message saying it is under construction or something like that? Alternatively, is there some way ...

Most of the calendar items posted on our web site do not have any further information - things like "Family Home Evening" or "7:00 PM Mutual" or "Ward Temple Day". However, sometimes we do include further details that are visible if the user will click on the title. As ...

As ward web admin, when I send a broadcast email, it appears to the recipient as if I am personally sending them an email. I have begun including some text in the body of the message that specifies the message is being sent to all ward members from the web site, but this is still not always very cle...

Thanks very much for the information. I am the ward web administrator. I sent the message out to all ward users yesterday and still haven't received the message or the usual notice that the message was sent. I sent a slight modification of the message today and within a few seconds I received the me...

Last night I sent a broadcast email to all users. My wife and I have not received it yet (20 hours later), although we were definitely on the list of addressees. I'm not at all confident these messages are really being sent as advertised. Does it occasionally take days for a broadcast email to be se...

News and Information Archive

In our ward we post a lot of things in the News and Information area. We keep several previous weekly bulletins, Teacher's Quorum newsletters, Lesson Schedules, the last few ward newsletters, and have plans for several more such postings. We use the Priority to help organize these so they are a litt...

I would have preferred to put the links in the Information box. The only alternative I can think of is to add them in a pdf attachment. That seems to work, but it's not quite as user friendly. Thanks for the help.

Using HTML tags

When posting a Ward News and Information item, in the Information box I can use some HTML tags to format the text to some extent. I would like to include links to talks in the conference issue of the Ensign along with a schedule of the Teachings For Our Times lesson topics. However, I can't seem to ...
