Anyone know why the lds.org.uk website took this calculator down? We can only assume the whole UK site is currently being updated hence why the whole site gets a redirect to lds.org. Notice it is not only the Gift Aid calculator which is not available but also all the other member sections. You can...

I've updated it to allow personal phone numbers and emails for the HOH couple. Unticking that box now simply omits the kids in the family. Also, since it is no longer an online app, I have moved it off Google App Engine. Please note the new URL: http://russross.github.com/warddirectory/ The old loc...

I agree with this request. A couple of considerations though: Since the information within each "blog" could be personal to the unit and the people it might be good to separate what would be public and what would be private. I would imagine the title (and even a short description, new field?) would ...

The whole issue about "Internet TV" is (and will be for some time) a "moving target" and therefore I doubt they can come out and say much more. Until the IPTV landscape is a bit more clear I think what you have found so far is the best you are going to get in the short/medium term. I personally coun...

Just adding my voice too for putting back the "send an email now" as it is sorely missed.

I agreed he has a point. I think every place should definately consider it carefully in the same way we consider all other aspects of privacy.

I've seen enough variety within my stake, and at least ten times that variety on posts on this forum, to fear that these tags and permissions could be predefined. I've seen wards with one calendar, and others with 12 or more (and everything in between). I've seen wards that give editing permissions...

44 percent use a game console (Wii, XBox, PlayStation). Granted web connected TVs are relatively new, that category will grow. The game consoles number in the tens of millions, so the missionary aspect of having Church content available that way cannot be overlooked. However, I do see these figures...

I'm not sure I want google to be anywhere near any potentially confidential discussions I/we might be having as a ward!? Surely there's a privacy issue here? And if you as a ward determine you need to discuss sensitive stuff then just decide to have a normal face2face meeting and only use this "add...

I forgot to say Google+ currently allows 10 people to be in a "hangout" but the word is it will be extended to 25 once it goes more public which makes it perfect for most local church leadership meetings, seminary etc (where approved by local leaders).
