It can be done through the system...sort of. The feature you are lacking is a direct "request event" button that would allow a user to request the location or resource on a day not assigned to his or her ward. But it can still be circumvented. You just have to contact the building scheduler. Thank ...

Thanks for your detailed response. I did not mean to be derogatory when I put the word "Roughshod" in my initial post about the Building Scheduler's role, and I certainly was not referring to their character. It IS their role and responsibility to oversee the building's resource - it was poor word c...

Thanks for moving this. I spent the last hour or so reading through the calendar helps. It is becoming quite clear that the organizational structure really needs to be thought out. The whole idea of getting rid of a "Centralized / Single Scheduler" who approves all calendars is kind of lost in the n...

Thank you again! Maybe this belongs in a new thread, but We are having such growing pains with this new calendar and migrating away from the old LUWS calendar.

Thank you again! Maybe this belongs in a new thread, but We are having such growing pains with this new calendar and migrating away from the old LUWS calendar. The new calendar just doesn't seem to work for our needs yet, but we are using in 90% now. We have 3 wards and the stake in our stake buildi...

What is the anticipated road map for removal of LUWS

Any roadmap (published or speculative) about when the LUWS will go away?

Also, is there a way the LUWS admin can find out how many hits our LUWS is getting daily, monthly yearly? My bishop would like to know - it may help him decide not to continue updating some items on that site.

Thanks
Jim

I'm not sure I agree. If you have fairly high sacrament attendance for the first 2 months of a quarter then attendance drops off in the last month then you are not getting an accurate picture of that wards sacrament attendance and that correlates to a possible drop in budget doesnt it? I would think...

Also, as for the rest of the information THANK YOU. I just need to sit down and read these books a little more carefully and quit hasseling you.

It also looks like the language for Young Woman advancement is not precise so "Local Adaptation" is probably ok.

Thanks again for all your help!

Thanks again - you seem to have a knack for finding and answering my questions :) Section 16.7.2 in book 1 pints us back to 16.7.1 in book one that gives the language for submitting a person for the Melchizedek PH and says that the Aaronic PH should follow this pattern, but it does not give the lang...

Membership Audits

I am a new ward clerk undergoing a membership audit. One of the items showing on the discrepancy list is a HP that was ordained a 70 by someone the system says did not have the authority to do the ordination.

Any thoughts on how to clear this one up?

Thanks
