That would be a great improvement. The UFS probably takes up more room in the filing cabinet now than the original documentation!drepouille wrote:Here is hoping that some day we will be able to sign each statement digitally instead of printing it.

Re: Payment Request menu in LCR Finance
I believe the audit specifically says no funds are dispersed without explicit permission from the Bishop. That permission could be verbal, but he must approve before funds are sent.

Re: Missing CUBS Unit Financial Statement - Jan 2020
I’ve understood that we must complete the review within the following month, but best practice has been earlier in the month. The audit question does simply say promptly.

Re: Missing CUBS Unit Financial Statement - Jan 2020
I guess we will try to remember next week and I'll use this forum post to support any audit exception for why it wasn't reviewed in the first half of the month. Looking back, I see other months where there were only 5 business days till the second Sunday and the report was available. Attached is whe...

Re: Payment Request menu in LCR Finance
I wonder how the process is supposed to work for this? Our stake clerk says the Bishop has to sign the authorization from AND approve it in LCR. He could also approve it via Email as long as that is uploaded. Does anyone know if that process should stay the same or if the authorization is taken car...

Missing CUBS Unit Financial Statement - Jan 2020
On the second Sunday of each month we review the unit financial statement. In the time I've been in this calling, there has never been a situation where the UFS wasn't in MLS by the second Sunday. However, today, 2/9/20, there is no UFS in MLS or LCRF. What is the process when we don't receive a sta...

Re: Reimbursment overpayment
In my MLS (USA) we clearly have a budget option when receiving a donation. I have used this method before for fixing an over-reimbursed amount.

Re: Voiding an approved Expense in Bishop's Review
I imagine it would also show up in the expense summary and you'd be able to void/adjust it from there.
If it's a check, it's possible you'd have to print the check and then void it.
If it's ACH, I'm not certain if you can void. I don't have any issued ACH transactions, they are all cleared.

Re: Why is Ninite.com Blocked?
I believe the MLS filter (filter.lds.org) passes at the other locations as we just completed audits recently, but either something changed or this site has a more restrictive policy than the others. As I run an IT company, we subscribe to a large package of computers with Ninite Pro, so the 20-30 st...

Why is Ninite.com Blocked?
Ninite is a great utility for keeping applications updated on computers. It’s a great security tool and makes setting up computers much easier. I’ve been refreshing some computers this week and in two of our three buildings, no problems using ninite, but in the third, ninite.com is blocked. I can’t ...
