This happens all the time, not just Fast Sunday. You have to skip Bishopric Training meeting on Mother's Day. You skip Young Single Adults activity on Thanksgiving. Ward A traded activity night with Ward B in September. My branch is holding their Christmas party on Thursday, which frees up our regul...

My first thought upon reading the beginning of this thread was "There already IS a Home and Visiting Teaching program. It's called MLS." Unfortunately, MLS is on a single user computer kept in a locked room in the church house. It's a great program. Nobody uses it because it is too inconvenient. For...

The problem with Desktop 5.5 being slow is not because it is on a 32 bit operating system. It is because it is on a 32 bit operating system crippled by anti-virus and feature bloat. The 256 Mbyte Dell in the clerks office is not enough machine for the add ons. My district president sat down at a cle...

This is a great idea. I spent a lot of time trying to find a suitable digital picture of Joseph Smith for the cover page of our district calendar. A repository would be nice. - While we are talking about copyright issues, also think about the licensing of the media and reproducer. We should avoid fo...
