Within the ward MLS there is a boundary change tool that lets you pick a list of members and which unit they are moving to. Then MLS bulk moves them, so everything shows up all at once. As far as the experience I had with our boundary change, the only holdup on getting members moved was me (the new...

It is probably quicker than it used to be, but that's a good thing, right? :) I am guessing that the process they now have in place that puts the official maps on CDOL and feeds the system that maps.lds.org uses, all integrated with the MLS database, really helps this process move along more quickly...

I just wanted to share the timeframe of what has happened with a newly created ward in our Stake, in hopes that it might help others know what they can reasonably hope for... even though "past performance is not always a good indicator of future results." :) Our new unit was created on January 9th i...

Minimum age is 8. My 6-year old was disappointed that the 8-year-old could have an account and she could not. :) The message stating that 8 is the minimum age didn't specify whether baptism was a requirement. I'll have to wait a little while before I can verify that question. 8-year old account does...

Your link to Classes in the wiki is broken: https://tech.lds.org/wiki/index.php/Classes A few points about class rolls that might help those who are trying to manage class rolls that are not 'standard'. If you have more than one class with the same rules, when you cross a date boundary that changes ...

Well, Russia is not in the EU... so I'm not sure it fits, but that is good to know. Let me ask, then, if all of the data was private, it should still show the regular Directory page, and allow you to edit your own family data, but not see anything else, correct? This is not the case here... it's jus...

Ward Mission Leader as Calendar Editor

I'll hijack this thread instead of creating a new one... :) I was adding calendar editors according to calling the other day, and everything seemed to work fine, but when I tried to add the Ward Mission Leader (the calling in MLS is a standard calling and shows up just as Mission Leader) it doesn't ...

Tools access internationally

I would like to understand whether tools access (and underlying database information) is expected to be available in other countries currently, or not. The reason why I am asking is that I have seen that many of the tools have been translated into other languages, which would imply (and I know it's ...

Decisions, decisions. :)

I have no desire to question the decision or policy, just looking for guidance... :) If a certain unit has already started using the new calendar within the unit, and we're willing to continue using it, knowing that it's still in development, does the policy FAQ imply that we should abandon this pat...

Interviews

Basically I was trying to figure out how the interview list worked, because the first time I saw it, it was not populated at all, and I didn't see a way to fill it in. Today when I look, I see that it is now automatically populated and has a list of those individuals who are on the Action Interview ...
