The presidency would have to be made an out-of-unit member of that mission. Mission offices don't use MLS, so this solution won't work. The mission president, his counselors, the mission executive secretary, and the mission clerk can access membership information for member districts/mission branch...

What mission do you serve in? While your idea is great, it may not be applicable to the rest of the world. I served in Boise, and we only did transfers via van. I know other missions in the US have "transfer meetings", where every one drives in, meets their new companions, and leaves.

I was a clerk for years before my current calling (EQP). My understanding is that most everything is controlled via CDOL. So long as the name has been updated in CDOL by the Boundary and Leadership Change Committee at CHQ, you should be fine. I hope someone else can back me up with that assumption (...

I am having a similar issue. I downloaded a video from the Leadership Training Library ("Elders Quorum President: A Humble Servant"), but I can't play it. The size on the download screen is 39 MB, but after I downloaded it, the size was 15 B. See attached images.

They were created with our last CDOL release, in preparation for MLS 3.5. It looks like there are some issues with how MLS 3.4.3 and CDOL handle changes to these positions, because there were changes to them that came up from your ward. I'm still investigating what happened. Thanks - feel free to c...

Ward Leaders - new subsections are now missing

Over the weekend, I noticed that some new subsections (e.g.: Family History, Ward Missionaries, Technology, etc.) were added. Now, all but "Family History" are gone. What happened? I really liked this - especially because it saved me time scrolling through "Other Callings"...

No missionaries serving in your unit: We've never had missionaries listed as serving in our ward although other units have both names and pictures up. It sounds like the local mission president has someone update the units where missionaries are serving when transfers happen. The elders serving in ...

The "Assigned Missionaries" section (where it lists missionaries serving IN your ward) is controlled by the mission office via IMOS (Internet Mission Office System). This is the system where they make missionary transfers and assignments. If it's incorrect, you'll have to contact your loca...
