I just made this post File: introducing leaders to lesson schedules to share a file I made last year to introduce our stake and ward leaders to Lesson Schedules. Hope it helps someone. It would fork this thread if I put it here.

File: introducing leaders to lesson schedules
Here is a two-page "training aid" file I used last year in an attempt to introduce stake and ward leaders to the Lesson Schedules tool on LDS.org. It's not a "how-to" resource, its a "check-out-the-benefits" plea! It's really not for general membership, because they can...

Re: Working out which lesson we are meant to be at
which lesson the wards should be at this is really the ultimate question for me as well, but for two purely selfish reasons. I want to know what lessons will be taught this coming Sunday so I may prepare/study personally I want to have our priesthood lessons match my wife's RS lesson for second - f...

Re: Mission call dates?
Actually, I think the missionary recommendation system is your only option...our assistant stake clerk reported he could not see the call and return dates for the missionaries from the stake in LCR...there is no STAKE full-time missionaries listing, as one might suspect...it only shows in the Ward L...

Re: Working out which lesson we are meant to be at
Because it is a Ward level tool, I would guess you will find that as the STAKE Sunday school president, you have limited or no online rights or abilities for the lesson schedules tool, and thus no ability to set up schedules for wards who won't do it themselves, or enforce synchronization with your ...

Re: Custom HTML in Newsletter?
I thought I saw a while back that someone figured out how to do custom HTML for a Newsletter article? I know we have discussed custom html in "send a message," but I can't remember seeing it discussed for a newsletter article, and I've tried hard to get the calendar to do better formattin...

Re: Home Teaching info for Stake Presidency
If he tried to use the information on me I don't suppose he "used" the information "on" anyone. When people needed assistance, he wanted their assigned home teacher and ward leaders to be involved when appropriate...to move such things back to the ward level where attentive home...

Re: Home Teaching Reporting on LDS.org
Where can we make a suggestion to have a home and visiting teaching app. Just to view who someones HT or VT is stuff like that. Not necessarily for reporting purposes. It's kinda of a drag all of the steps required to look at lds.org online on your phone. I suggest you make that suggestion on the f...

Re: Purchasing music for youth dances
Did I mention "can of worms?" I'm no lawyer, but I personally would feel very comfortable asking a ward member to come and play their music collection for a church dance, providing the Handbook principles for youth dances are followed, just as if you hired a DJ. I see little difference bet...

Re: Home Teaching info for Stake Presidency
so this does answer, in part, the OP's question...they CAN see more than "numbers and percents"jonesrk wrote: The stake leaders can see who is assigned as home/visiting teachers on the members profile page.
