Update?

We now have 13 high councilors as well. Any news on this glitch?
Thanks.

However, I would advise you not to hold your breath waiting for any official comment on such a weighty matter :D.

Order of stake leadership

When the update Book 1 (Church Handbook) came out, one subtle change was the order in which Ward/Stake clerks and Executive Secretaries are listed. It was exec sec, then clerk; now, it's clerk first, then exec sec. However, on the unit websites, the exec sec is still by default listed first. (I'm al...

Calendar: midnight ending time

Sorry if this has been asked, answered, re-asked, and re-answered. My quick forum search didn't find it: I'm trying to enter a stake calendar event for the NYEve dance, which ends at midnight. I suppose midnight, yes, is technically part of the Jan 1, but in real life, the dance doesn't span two yea...

MLS 2.9 CES menu

In my new calling, I don't use MLS. So, I haven't seen this firsthand. I am a CES coordinator, and have been told that the Seminary/Institute reports & exports menu is gone in the stake MLS, and that it is now only in the ward MLS. Is that so? If it is, does the stake MLS have the ability to log on ...

Thanks!

I appreciate your response. I think we've decided to go with option #3 as well. It seems pretty sound after reading your success with it. And even better since it allows me to print the calendar details (the laptop system won't fly here!).

Calendar detail view for Admins

The stake presidency would like to review proposed 2009 calendar submissions. We're asking the stake auxiliaries to submit their proposed events, which I will compile for the presidency. The admin calendar doesn't have the "View event details" option. (Which I would like to suggest be added!) So, I ...

I was happy to see this thread at the top of the list. I work as a CES coordinator, and serve several stakes. Many of us would be interested in seeing some form of access to LUWS info of the stakes we serve. Of course, now that I read this thread, I suppose there's a whole flood of persons who feel ...

Maybe it's all the same, but our CES (@ldsces.org) mail is also getting rejected by msn and hotmail. These aren't group messages, but ones with single recipients and no attachments.

Multi-stake resources

What about inter-stake shared resources?
We will soon have be sharing a camp property with several other stakes. I wonder if there is a feasible way to use the resource feature with it.
Anyone have ideas?
Thanks,
dg
