Re: 2015 Computer Standards
Thanks for the replies. I have been leaning towards going ahead and ordering myself. I attempted making some calls to "sniff" around but if anyone knew anything they weren't talking. ;) I am usually a Dell person. Use them with all my clients and have been pretty happy. I am open to trying...

2015 Computer Standards
Our Stakes Clerk computers are 5 years old. Our FM group sent me an email about the computers that are available to replace them. Listed are the same ones that have been talked about for some time here in these forums. Dell 7010 DT, HP 6305, and ThinkCentre M78. There was also a note (FM group said ...

Webcaster power up issues
We have stake conference this weekend. We use the webcaster box purchased from the church. Saturday sessions went fine. This morning trying to set up the webcaster would not power up. The blue light was on around the power switch but nothing happened. I connected an lcd screen so I could see if it w...

Re: No ones passwords work in MLS
Thanks Russell, I had tried that already and believe me I wish it would have worked. jdlessley, I don't know why I didn't remember that post. I have had to use those methods before. It is so nice when option A works. Sadly it didn't. Had to use option B and restore from a back up. Now we just have t...

No ones passwords work in MLS
This morning one of our unit clerks called and no one can sign into MLS (3.6.1_21852 September 13, 2013) When you start typing user name it auto fills in like normal but no passwords work. I had them set up a teamviewer session for me and I tried my account but still no joy. In the past when this ha...

Re: MLS Error 2 is occurring when attempting Send/Recieve
"There are other possibilities if your previous computer is still available, but they require careful technical steps." can you shed any more details on this process? It would be nice if we could sign in like we can on TM with the routers to reset our own security. It is very frustrating t...

The EVI-D70 Commander software worked great for us. Picked up a 30' Visca PTZ Control Cable on ebay. My laptop doesn't have seial port so used a usb to serial cable. My laptop found the usb to serial device but put it on com9. I just went in and changed the port to com1. Worked great! Love the prese...

We had our first webcast this past weekend. Lighting was also an issue for us. We have lights on the back wall behind the choir. there is a row of lights that points down on that back wall. Also above those lights is a row of lights that points up at the ceiling. These looked really bad on camera so...

Once the popping starts it never stops. However it is not as pronounced during just speaking. Preamp is way below clipping. We are currently only using one microphone. I am actually sitting here in the broadcast right now. (Aug 21, 2011-11:07am) Most units only hear the popping during music. I am mo...

Audio "popping" sound during broadcast
We did our first webcast using Meetinghouse Webcast Communicator. We are using the microphone, preamp, and cables all purchased from the church web site. The audio works great until music is introduced. Organ, piano, and in our case yesterday a flute solo. Once the flute solo started a clicking or p...
