Re: Out of Unit Members in LDS Tools

In my experience (admittedly a few years ago now), out-of-unit members only showed up in the Directory and LDS Tools once they were given a standard calling of some sort. I know that's not very practical for children.

Re: How to change age policy for youth Sunday School?

In every ward I have been in, it has been difficult to explain to the youth why they don't advance to the next Sunday School class after their birthday. They are used to doing this when YM and YW so it confuses them with Sunday School. It seems to me that YM/YW is the exception. Primary classes cha...

Re: health hazards of too much wifi

This subject came to my attention through ministering to several sisters who suffer from multiple illnesses. There seems to be increasing acceptance, by the medical profession, that increased exposure to wireless technology can have negative effects on the human body. Some countries have enacted la...

Re: Lost Sheep?

I'm a new clerk and I have to move some records to the destination 'Lost Sheep'. I've looked all over the Leader and Clerk resources, Membership etc. The correct terminology is "address unknown". I believe it's part of the Move out procedure. Someone with more current experience in LCR wi...

Re: putting marriage information onto tree

There seems to be no way of putting dates of marriages into pedigrees on the free site. Filling in "person" asks for birth, baptism, death, but no marriage and cannot find a way to do so. Can you help? On Family Tree there's a difference between personal information (which applies to just...

Re: Family History Flash Cards App

Who is interested in creating such an app? How difficult would it be to get a hold of a church mobile developer or to talk with someone over mobile applications to make this a reality? Perhaps this could eventually become a feature within the Family Search Memories app. A couple of thoughts: ⋅...

Re: Family History Report

The main reports were, however, he also talked about reports that would show down to the individual level as far as who is submitting names to the temple, adding names to the tree, adding memories, etc. I have yet to see those. Are they available somewhere and I've just missed them? I just listened...

Re: Family History Activity Report, definition of Submitter

Why are the Temple and Family History Reports updated. What is showing is June and it’s now August 10,? It takes about 10 days after the end of the month to update monthly reports. So the report for June will be the latest available until about August 10, when the July data will be available. The T...

Re: Ancestors Near Me | Lessons from restaurant apps and Pokemon Go

The Family Tree mobile app from FamilySearch has a feature called "Map My Ancestors" which shows on a map where your ancestors had significant life events. It was released in late 2017 (after the original post).
