Online Finance Info/Training

I tried to search several areas of the forum for this topic and didn't see anything, but please point me to the correct location if this is already covered... In the past week, it appears that our stake has had a number of new functions of online finance enabled. As the Stake Finance Clerk, I know I...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

The calendar access could be the problem. I don’t have access to edit one of the calendars (it is a ward calendar and I am in the stake) but I can access the other. However, if a building scheduler is not able to modify a reservation on any calendar, then it severely limits their ability to deal wit...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

Another question or possible bug... I am listed as a building scheduler for all buildings and I have a ward with an event that selected a building for use. I need to remove that so that it will go on another calendar, but until the reservation is removed, there is a conflict. Whenever I set the faci...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

Yes, there were issues with changing those events when scheduling is disabled. They could always be deleted and they could be edited if they were recurring. Single events with a location were “stuck” as you note. However, for those of us who have been able to get by doing central scheduling in spite...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

Answering an above question about turning scheduling off. In the old system it was never intended to turn off scheduling if future events existed. That cause the calendar to be in a very buggy state. Scheduling can only be turned off if all future events have been moved or deleted from the location...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

Question about scheduling facilities - with the previous calendar, an admin could schedule a facility even if general scheduling had not yet been enabled. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Is this a bug that will be fixed, or is that the new intended behavior? That prevents us from putting h...

Re: Navigation not visible in IE, Edge, Firefox, Chrome

Was there a resolution to this issue? I am still seeing it on our stake computer using MS Edge. From what I am reading in the several threads, there hasn't been a definitive fix - only a few suggestions to try clearing cache or cookies that may or may not work, so I am hoping perhaps I missed someth...

Re: Override Entry Errors in LCR

The bishop, stake president, and clerks typically have more rights than counselors do, because the counselors don't have the same responsibilities for recordkeeping. Well, I am the stake exec sec and also an asst clerk, so we are down to the clerk and the president that would possibly be able to do...

Re: Override Entry Errors in LCR

That might work most of the time, but given the limited hours at the GSC, it could cause a problem. For example, if the stake president restored someone's blessings (as directed by the first presidency) on a weekday evening and the member wanted to go to the temple the next morning it couldn't be re...
