Override Entry Errors in LCR

Hello, I am sorry if this topic has already been discussed, but searching the forum didn't lead me to anything that really looked like it applied... I have run into a few cases over the years where I needed to make a change to member information when the system thought I couldn't. Examples are activ...

Re: Locations messed up after stake reorg

Good thought. I am checking with the other stake to see if maybe they created the location and can delete it. I cannot add myself as a schedule for the duplicate building (that we don't own). In fact I can no longer see it in the locations and rooms list since I asked them to turn off ward schedulin...

Re: Locations messed up after stake reorg

I can't delete any of the locations since they are all coming from the FM database. I don't know if they accidentally added a new building when the stake was created instead of moving an existing one or what... That is the part I am still working through on the FM side. Still no progress on being ab...

Locations messed up after stake reorg

Hello, We are seeing a number of issues with the calendar locations after a stake reorg (2 to make 3). Initially the buildings were not correctly listed, but I think we have that (mostly) worked out with FM. We still have one building that is appearing twice and we are working to resolve that one. B...

Re: New Stake and moving membership records

Sorry to break up the fun and get back to the LCR question, but as I record new people do they get the permissions once they are recorded as sustained or do they also need to be marked as set apart? For example, we just called a new auditor (it is that time of the year!), who does not need to be sus...

Re: New Stake and moving membership records

Wow... Sounds like you will be getting out your canes next and whacking each other over the head... :-) Even 2 years ago, much more could be done locally on MLS until the online systems caught up. Now there are quite a few that can only be done online, so until the permissions are there, the stake c...

Re: New Stake and moving membership records

Which is one reason I tell people 24-48 hours. They're so much happier when it happens sooner. :D russellhltn is wise. The only problem with saying 24-48 hours for everything is that when most things update in minutes, the "peons" begin to disbelieve that number. Understanding that this l...

Re: New Stake and moving membership records

I now have access to the new stake info (whew! ), and looking at the out of unit callings shows that no one that moved to the new stake seems the have been automatically released from their stake callings. Jonesrk indicated that was supposed to have happened, so any thoughts on this? Will we n...

Re: New Stake and moving membership records

Too bad you didn't make the comment - it is most definitely true. :-)

If it updates every 6 hours, then 6 hours is the LONGEST it should take, right? Oh no fair - now you throw "other systems" into the mix. Stop changing the rules... :-)

Re: New Stake and moving membership records

Uh Oh! The engineer is getting impatient again... :-) I still don't seem to have permission to see the LCR section of the new Stake. I figured since I was added to LCR and that propagated to CDOL at around 1:30 this afternoon, I would have permissions by 9PM if it updates every 6 hours. I will wait ...
