Re: New Stake and moving membership records

Thanks - that's what I thought and it looks like the wards have now moved. On lds.org, I can see that I am assigned to the new stake, but I can still see the leadership in the old stake because I am still listed as an Asst Stake Clerk (out of unit now, I guess). Not sure if that will drop off automa...

Re: New Stake and moving membership records

I would not do any moves unless instructed by CHQ to do so. Moving people from their ward will release the members from their callings. (Assuming you could even do so - since they'd be moving from their ward to the same ward.) Wait for CHQ to re-assign everyone in the ward to their new stake. That'...

Re: New Stake and moving membership records

Thanks for the experience. We are waiting for more detailed instructions from GSC, but if we can do the entire ward in one step, that makes me feel better. I just don't want to have any members left "orphaned" in the correct ward but the old stake.

New Stake and moving membership records

Hello, On Sunday we create a new stake in our area (2 to make 3) but there were no ward boundary changes. We had 6 wards from the previous stakes moved into the new stake. We are trying to get things going in LCR and CDOL and have been working with the GSC. The stake is now active in CDOL and the 3 ...

Re: Calendars not allowing edit

Thanks for checking with them and for the feedback. I will let our schedulers know the status.

Re: Calendars not allowing edit

Any update on when we might see a fix for this? We are having the same problem where we do not open the buildings for general scheduling and only want our building schedulers to be able to assign locations. However, once they enter an event with a building selected, they cannot go back and edit that...

Re: Admin (by calling) cannot edit calendar events

Yes, that does look like the same issue. I found this thread first when I searched and didn't keep looking for more.

Re: Admin (by calling) cannot edit calendar events

I have been communicating with Russell offline, and I think we have narrowed down why this is happening. Our stake chooses to schedule our buildings centrally instead of using the distributed model. In order to do this, we leave the "Allow wards and stakes to schedule this location" select...

Re: Admin (by calling) cannot edit calendar events

Oh. I think you are correct that I didn't create the original locations but I did setup the rooms for each location. The locations are the ones from the FM database with the room configurations that I setup...

Re: Admin (by calling) cannot edit calendar events

These are stake calendars where we have our building schedulers manage the building reservations. I am both a stake asst clerk and a stake technology specialist. I created both the calendars and the building location, and have edit rights to all of them. I created the original event but then cannot ...
