I am having this exact same issue tonight. It shouldn't be an issue with permissions as I am the Bishop.

Does anyone know how to turn the closed captioning OFF in the BYUTV iPad app? I can't seem to find any support options on the BYU TV Website, other than one email link, and that came back undeliverable.

What is the most recent update of LDS Tools that you have? I know the calendar was having some issues for quite some time, but I think with the latest release, it seems to be working fine. You may want to try deleting the app and re-installing it to make sure you have the latest version.
