Re: Delete LDS Account
I did in fact enable that option. I did see the disclaimer that some applications are not "configured" to handle 2FA, and that is what's at the root of all this. It's 2018....there's been plenty of time to implement 2FA across all platforms. Those platforms that are not configured pose, th...

Re: Delete LDS Account
Simply put, I no longer feel secure so I would like to delete my LDS Account. In what way are you not secure? What particular attack are you concerned about that deleting your account would make you more secure? Keep in mind that others can see your information on their devices. So, if you're conce...

Re: Delete LDS Account
Yes, the problem is that I downloaded a Church app for Android, and it bypassed 2FA. I had no such issues on my Apple devices. LDS Tools for iOS doesn't have two-factor authentication either (unless you're talking about Touch ID or Face ID, which no longer require a password after they're set up, a...

Re: Delete LDS Account
I appreciate the response. I am aware of the consequences of deleting my LDS Account. I no longer do family history because I'm at the point (1400's/1500's) where documentation and proof are suspect at best, so I don't feel that deletion would be a problem as I no longer would be able to be confiden...

Delete LDS Account
Upfont, I will say that I am but a member, but would appreciate some help. I would like to delete my LDS Account. Completely and totally delete it. I downloaded LDS Tools onto my Android tablet and it just let me right in with username and password, no challenge, no code, even though I have authenti...

Re: Is certifying on-line to officiate at a wedding OK?
I should've thought to mention the wedding is taking place outside at a park- won't be at a church house. I no longer have access to HB1 either, but it seems to me, that your statement above would make all the difference. If the state you're in sees your brother-in-law as one who can legally perfor...

Odd record problem
Hello everyone. Long time listener, first-time caller. There is a situation where a member was rebaptized after excommunication in October. The problem is that it's January, and the records still haven't shown up. The member has clearance to participate in the sacrament administration and is recogni...

Re: Account issues
I tried and got this...
Either the MRN and/or Birth Date is not valid or the account does not exist.
but somewhere else it told me the account does exist.
I'll see my branch clerk on Sunday. Thanks!
