Re: Supported Android versions for Gospel Library

In earlier versions of Gospel Library (when most users were English speakers, and the content catalog was smaller), some basic content was bundled with the app. So if you find an older APK, it may include the English scriptures (but no guarantees at this point).

Re: Related references

The Guide to the Scriptures is also helpful. But I agree it would be nice if names and places were available right there in the sidebar. There are some third party study editions of the Book of Mormon that provide better context, like this one or this one , though neither of them provide definitions...

Re: Support

Gospel Library 5.7.0 and newer will no longer try to authenticate in the background using an incorrect password (authentication was switched to OAuth).

Re: I'd love to choose which markings show when I read

This is a good suggestion – I'd recommend sending it as a feature request under Settings > Send Feedback in Gospel Library. The ability to have various "sets" of annotations would be handy.

Re: iPad Gospel Library app filtered or selective search

The ability to search in context was added in Gospel Library 5.4.0 for iOS. If you navigate to where you want to search, then open the search panel and start typing, the first search suggestion will allow you to search in the context of the book or section you're in.

Re: LDS Tools (& other LDS apps) URL Schemes

You can link to Member Tools using membertools:// , but as far as I know there's not a way to link to a specific location in the app. That would be a good suggestion to send (Help > Contact Us).

Re: Searching Notes?

You can search notes in the regular search panel. After typing your search and pressing enter, scroll over to the Notes tab, which will show results from your notes. Also, in the Notes section of the app, there's an All tab that lists all of your notes, tags, highlights, and links, sorted with the m...

Re: Lady in ward wants to pay for half of grandsons mission (he lives in idaho)

If you're looking for his mission address to write a letter or send a package, you can search for the mission name on the "classic" Church maps website: https://classic.churchofjesuschrist.org/maps/ After searching, the mission will show as an option on the left, with its address.
