Re: 2021 Recording Attendance Guidelines
I think this is a change from what was initially rolled out. OK, I'm glad you confirmed that. I recently looked at the Access Table, and was a bit confused because it indeed indicated that Advisers and other sorts of "non-Presidency" members now have access to the attendance rolls, which ...

Re: New Expense Reimbursement Process
Last year I tried using my phone (android samsung) to submit an expense, and was unsuccessful uploading even one photo for the receipt. I gave up, and since then have done the longer process of taking the pic, emailing it to myself from my phone, and then using a computer to enter the expense and up...

Re: Authentication should play nice with password managers ala LastPass
Matthew, you may have noticed since your original post, but this is almost exclusively a user-to-user forum. There may be an occasional Church developer around, but posting enhancement requests on this Forum is likely to get no action, as "decision-makers" don't look here for input. The be...

Re: General Conference in foreign language
Same thing happens with the Gospel Library app on your phone. Based on my language setting inside Gospel Library, when launching Gospel Library over conference weekend, it automatically displayed (at the top of the screen) the invitation to watch General Conference in that corresponding language.

Re: Auto-mailing a check to a non-member
Although you correctly identify the inconvenience involved, trust me that this is very worthwhile. Having each individual rent payment be manually processed helps avoid those situations where funds end up not being correctly used. At the start things seem clear, but I've been surprised at how things...

Re: Tithing Directly to Church HQ
This might get corrected by somebody else on the Forum who knows better, but I'll share my understanding. There are two different aspects in play here: Method of making the donation, and recurring nature of the donation. Donation Method The Church FAQ on donations states that while making a donation...

Re: List of members 'Living out of Unit'?
If I pull up the "Ward Directory and Map", clicking on a household dot brings up their info, and flags if an address is unverified. This is the only way I am aware of to determine if member addresses have been verified or not. So if address verification is part of this process, I'd anticip...

Re: Tithing Settlement
Pre-pandemic, our approach was on the first Sunday the sign-up was available, to have a clerk with a laptop available in the foyer before and after church. The message was that anyone wanting to signup themselves online could do so, and those others could talk to the clerk at church and have him sig...

Re: Prepaid gift card purchased to pay for services rendered
As this was a Stake Activity, I'd suggest trying to verify if the Stake President is fully aware of the exact nature of this practice (as he is responsible to ensure GHB 38.8.19 is followed). It could be that all he sees is a "Services Rendered for Stake Youth Conference" expense, without ...

Re: Primary teachers class access on tools
Trevor, I'd just re-emphasize that we're all working on an incomplete set of information regarding why this is implemented this way. So we can follow the different logic threads of available info to their conclusions, but this may or may not have a correlation to the reason for the implementation. N...
