Re: Class And Quorum Attendance

Unfortunately, it seems like radio silence is the operating word. It would indeed be good to know if things are still in-progress regarding access, or if (for whatever the reasons may be) we won't end up having class/quorum secretaries able to enter attendance. I haven't seen anything posted anywher...

Re: New and Returning Member Progress

As this is a User Forum, even if we all agree (and I know that I definitely do!), nobody here is involved in either decision-making or implementing changes. Besides the standard "provide online feedback via the link on LCR", in this particular case I'd suggest also sending the feedback bac...

Re: member not wanting emails from send message feature

Can email filters be applied to the auto-generated "send message" emails? Thankfully I don't get a lot of them, but it seems like although the address is "noreply@churchofjesuschrist.org", the email originator (e.g. culprit) is also listed. Obviously those who would like individu...

Re: 2021 Recording Attendance Guidelines

If we go back to 2019, how were adult leaders/teachers attending 2nd hour classes handled? Didn't the Adult SS attendance by default not include adults teaching or leading in Primary and Youth SS? And didn't RS/EQ attendance by default not include those teaching or leading in Primary/YW/YM? I'm just...

Re: Recording Attendance - Visitors?

I know that printed class rolls only include member names, but often wards would have visitors/investigators manually add their names. And it may be that when reporting attendance numbers to the clerk, these additional people were included. So for anyone used to this practice, not having a place to ...

Re: Year end statement

In reviewing year end financial statements, I notice a few members that have contributed that are missing when printing them off. If they downloaded them online, does it exempt them from the printing? And I would also add, that I would encourage as many members as you can, to check this toggle so t...

Re: Assistant Executive Secretary Access Please

Was this a calling issued by the Stake, or by the Bishop? In LCR if I try to add a calling to a member and choose the "Branch Presidency" organization (you'd see Bishopric), I don't see any options besides "Custom Calling" (which makes sense since the Stake handles those callings...

Re: Youth Driving Youth

For those of us with early-morning seminary (where the church building or meeting place is miles from the various High Schools in the ward), this is often an "anxiously-awaited" occasion, for parents who either would rather not, or really cannot, drive to/from seminary every morning. And i...

Re: Single Adult Ward

All I can suggest is making connection with the local units and see if there's any gathering of your age group anywhere. I agree with that, and would add that (unfortunately), you may need to be the one doing a lot of the "information gathering". I have found that sometimes local wards/st...

Re: Zoom Webinar Feature

Are you using your phone or a laptop to access? I think I may have read somewhere on the Forums that the phone interface didn't allow for scheduling. When I log onto our unit account using my laptop, the left bar has "Profile", "Meetings", "Webinars", "Recordings&q...
