Re: Scripture Bookmarks Gone

I've heard rumors via other threads on the site that sometimes system glitches do occur, which take some time to work themselves out. I don't believe previous data is truly lost, just the interface to access that user data isn't connected properly. I don't track things, but it seems like most of the...

Re: Access Denied to Mission Maps on Classic LDS Maps Link

I have leader access, and currently (5/15/20) see the following choices missing when I access Classic Maps generically as opposed to when logged in to my account: * Missions * Recreational Camps * Tabernacles Likewise, if I paste the url for a Mission Map into a different browser where I haven't log...

Re: What kind of meetings are allowed

The Church sometimes asks local leaders (maybe Area Presidencies, maybe Stake Presidents, maybe Bishops) to receive revelation for their stewardships, which inevitably will be different. Our Area President has actually encouraged us to have virtual meetings - Sunday worship services (sans sacrament ...

Re: Online/electronic version of Handbook of Instructions??

I have seen this search issue raised elsewhere on the Forum, and was informed that the current Gospel Library app has exactly this search functionality we all have wanted (and still want) for the online website. From what I can tell, inside the Gospel Library app, any search you perform has a defaul...

Re: Bishops/weddings

Once released, the Bishop cannot officiate in that office anymore (although he retains the Priesthood office). So to me, in a civil-marriage sense, he becomes a regular citizen, and would be treated the same as a generic ward member (or non-member) who wants to perform a civil wedding. While I under...

Re: Was online donation submitted correctly?

When I make donations (via laptop at least), the upper-right side of my screen shows a "Recent Donations" dropdown selection. All my completed donations show a check-mark, and from what I recall, donations being processed show some kind of in-process icon (I know I should really remember!)...

Re: Why is there an age limit on access to online donations?

One thing I'm not aware of, is if the Church has a policy regarding handwritten donations, if a member doesn't have donation slips on hand.

Re: Ward boundaries outside your stake.

I sincerely hope nobody ever gets the bright idea to remove the "obsolete" Classic LDS Maps, and I even once submitted this feedback via the official tools. The functionality available there is helpful in so many different ways. Sometimes just for fun (I wonder what my son's current ward l...

Re: Change in Recording Sacrament Meeting Attendance

This request may be part of the "return and report" principle, based off what's in GHB 18.9.1, which contains much instruction including "All who participate in preparing, blessing, and passing the sacrament must receive approval from him or someone under his direction." I can im...

Re: Protecting Children and Youth - in Spanish

Kevin, if I go to the website for "Protecting Children and Youth" https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/callings/church-safety-and-health/training-and-video-resources/youth-protection?lang=eng and then click to launch the training, there's a language button in the upper-right corner, which h...
