Re: Stake Clerk Xerox B405 wireless printing

Another option is the Xerox B405 supports NFC , which means a person would have to be right there to print (and catch the output). Granted, not all phone/tablets support NFC, but it would eliminate some of the concerns mentioned above. Might not require the WiFi card either, but I'm not positive abo...

Re: Stake Clerk Xerox B405 wireless printing

In the past, when I've scanned the network using Fing from my cell phone, I've seen ward computers and printers. So I don't think there's a filter between wired and wireless. You're correct. Everyone is on the same happy LAN. The problem stems from people who don't know HOW to connect to a network ...

Love it! Yes, our FM has also been responsive for putting LAN jacks where we need them in ward buildings. That's now giving the creative side of my brain a good workout. 8-)

Re: More Permanent Setup for Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts

Thanks. Our stake has decided to pay the FM's installer to install church spec systems in our two meetinghouses. The stake presidency really wants to improve the zoom/youtube experience for regular services as well as funerals etc... I haven't heard of any ward buildings getting approved for perman...

Re: Zoom Enterprise Account Admin

I'm the STS in my stake and I have full control over those settings using the Zoom control panel in a web browser (not the Zoom app). In Settings --> In Meeting (Advanced) you'll find: Group HD video Activate higher quality video for host and participants. (This will use more bandwidth.) o Standard ...

...that it's a user-to-user help forum, and not the official method for interacting with any kind of Church support. While it's true, the forum is not the same as calling the help desk, it has evolved into an official means of support. More and more help documents on the church website link to the ...

dougpratt wrote: Mon Apr 04, 2022 10:13 am Did this effect the Patriarch website? How long will it be unavailable?
Yes. My stake patriarch has had similar problems with the website. The only thing I can recommend is to keep trying once or twice a day. Hopefully, we'll see improvements soon.

No and no. In the past couple of weeks several church servers/services have been up and down. Hopefully we'll start seeing some stability soon.

Greetings! Many church services have been up and down, as described by the post just before yours. The only suggestion is to keep trying once or twice a day.
