Since the ledge may interfere with the picture, how much of the choir can you get with the camera placed the way it is before seeing the ledge? We moved the top wood block over the edge of the ledge to get the far left of the choir seats so we could see the open area where musicians played instrume...

Your correct. I'll make the corrections, add arrows and rename VCR and then re-post. Sorry for the delay but I have been struggling with a flaky computer. Finally gave up and moved to my HTPC until resolved. I'll try to add an image.

How to get audio out of sound system

When our sound system was installed six years ago there was a connection to the building sound system made by the installers. He put a simple spade DC connectors just in front of the building video channel / sound combinder. Forget the technical name. It is discribed in a file I posted under this fo...

Webcast Hdw Setup Dwg Example

I have finally learned enough of how Visio works to document our Stake Ctr webcasting setup. I'll try and leave an .xps file of it or if someone wants the Visio file I can leave it. I'll update once I get the RS422 controls to work. I tried but the upload function and it would not accept the .xps or...

The trick is to find a brand of converter that works and stick with it. Surprisingly, some of the cheaper ones work b...

RS422 to USB Not Working

Regarding the USB adapter that did not work well, were you using the USB to RS-422 or to RS-232? If you use a laptop's 9-pin serial port (RS-232), you'll need an RS-232 to RS-422 converter. As long as the CAT5 cable for RS-422 is used only for that and not for IP, you should just be able to wire it...
