I'm only hearing this third hand, but the father didn't seem to think that it was resolved. I guess the best approach is to send a Message through MLS with the member's membership number and inquire as to which unit the member is assigned? Or does the father have to call somewhere? This is a bit of ...

Unit for a member serving in Afghanistan?
A young man from our ward is serving in Afghanistan in the Marines. When he left, we were given a military branch in California (Camp Pendleton) as his new unit and sent the record. His father was contacted by CHQ this week asking as to his current whereabouts (they didn't know he was in Afghanistan...

Access permissions to ward calendar
Our building is shared between three wards (A, B, and C) in two stakes (X and Y). The building scheduler lives in Ward A. On the ward website, there's a Resources link where we've posted a building calendar. The problem is, only the members in wards A and B (in stake X) can see the building calendar...

Remember, there's a difference between formal and preferred names. At least here in the US, we can use the standard of "whatever it says on their legal documents" as the formal name and "whatever they want to be called" on their preferred names. I'm often surprised at how many sisters, for example, ...

There are too many disconnects between Scouting requirements and Duty to God. It takes about a couple years for a leader to understand how the two program requirements blend together and to be effective in helping the kids pass off requirements. By time you figure out the program, it's time to turn...

I just drove over to review this. Yes, they get put back in the RS, but there needs to be a way to put them in Laurels. If you attempt to do an "Add Member" in the Laurels class, it will *not* show anyone over 17 (even those we've removed from the Laurels). If you're saying that no one over 17 is ev...
