Even if they have the authority, they still need the (building) key. One big problem with that idea is that the members don't have much control over what events get synced to their personal calendars. As a result, many will not subscribe at all and may result in lower attended to non-block meetings...

If designation cant be by ward level callings, that would make it cumbersome. Maybe what we could do is go back to the idea of the agent bishop's ward ultimately being in charge of the events in the building for the year that they are the agent ward. That ward's person can be the building scheduler...

That only helps you see what is scheduled. It does not help you as a building scheduler to help other ward's members who call you asking for help in using the their calendars. In the real world, even if everyone with questions is directed to view the webinar slides, they will still ask the building ...

Since reservations only works by unit, there's always a possibility that someone else will jump in there. Particularly if say, RS decides they don't want to hold their exercise class (maybe the fumes bothered them on that first day), so they delete their event but fail to tell you. It would be nice...

Sure. But the idea is get everyone using this calendar and not doing word-of-mouth end arounds.
