Re: Organizing the A/V equipment needed for Chapel Presentations

Good info to know on the new generation of Crab boxes. If you could share the new resistor values (I have not opened one up) etc I would tackle it. I am very comfortable at soldering.

Re: Configure New Clerk Computers?

So a bishop called me tonight and told me there was a new computer in the clerks office (still in box) and it had been there for 3 weeks. Is it typical for the FM group to just drop them off and not alert us to the plan?

Re: EPSON Projector wireless adapter - anyone using

Now that is a great small miracast device. Thanks for sharing. You are correct about the Epson app. I want to use it for remote control of the projector, mainly AV Mute. Until two weeks ago all of my presenters including stake president and visiting area 70's have all shown up with iPads. One speake...

EPSON Projector wireless adapter - anyone using

Epson makes a wireless adapter for the Epson issued projectors. Anyone have it and using it? Does it work over LDS ACCESS? There is a nice mobile app that allows you to be a moderator of the projector. I am testing it now with the wired LAN connection on the projector and using my iphone through LDS...

Re: Automated Music Solution

Falcon Player (open source software) for a Raspberry pi will do the trick for the music part. The software allows you to build a playlist of songs, and schedule them. So you could have different playlists scheduled for different times. You set a start and stop time. http://falconchristmas.com/forum/...

Re: Crab Box, Time for a redesign-overhaul. Audio volume issues

The one I bought https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Rolls+AV+PResenter Rolls AV Presenter. It has a 1/8 inch mini audio in and RCA jacks in. It has a XLR out, and two volume controls for left and right. It takes care of the stereo to mono for you. I c...

Re: Organizing the A/V equipment needed for Chapel Presentations

Thank you for sharing your design. I like how you are doing it. I too am finding the need to put monitors on the stand as more and more leaders including visiting authorities are using visuals, video/audio in their presentations. I bought a 2 input 4 output HDMI switcher that I put in the podium cub...

Audio Levels - consistency issue

SAT BROADCAST ENGINEERS - Audio I have noticed the following audio in-consistency issues for the last three broadcasts we have received. 1. Worldwide Devotional 2. General Priesthood Session 3. Regional Conference (Northern Utah) The audio levels of the pre-program (Tabernacle Choir usually) in 1 an...

Video freezes here during 1 October 2016 priesthood session. At least 2 of them.

Could be on the transmission side.
