Airplay through LDS access

I am looking to find others who have successfully used Airplay on LDSAccess wifi in church buildings. My initial attempt failed. It all works on a typical home wifi device. Before I explore more on LDSAccess I thought I would see what success/experience others have had. Kevin Reeve YSA 4th Stake Log...

Re: Crab Box, Time for a redesign-overhaul. Audio volume issues

Unfortunately the chapel has no aux input volume control. The only audio volume is the main control at the pulpit control, and satellite audio volume.

My answer was to purchase a Rolls audio interface that has both RCA and 1/8 mini stereo inputs and a XLR mic level output and it works great.

EJ-10 in both instances. Good to know about the EJ-8 though.

Crab Box, Time for a redesign-overhaul. Audio volume issues

I am having a lot of trouble getting enough volume out of a crab box lately when interfacing computers, tablets, and smartphones. Even with the volume control cranked all the way up. Once at a building where we were having a YSA lip sync contest (iphone to crab box) . The other at a RS womens confer...

Re: myldsmail.net not delivering

From what I can tell from the error message from google, it looks like you are trying to send too large of files that exceed what is allowed. I am guessing that the total file size for the pictures you are sending exceed the allowed amount. A couple of things you could try. Resize the images in a ph...

Re: LDS [Amateur Radio] Field Day - July 24th 2010

Looking forward to LDS FD. Glad someone thought of the idea for doing it. I would second the idea of doing a ward-stake communications test with priesthood leaders. We try to do this biannually and it has been something the hams look forward to, and it allows the priesthood leaders to see us in acti...

Re: Electronic method for signups for service opportunities

While there might not be one that the church has, you can use a google doc form for this. I use them all the time for a club I am a leader of. We have many service opportunities and it allows people to sign up, and for those who are organizing to collect the information and view it etc. Since it fee...

myldsmail.net not delivering

I replied to a message my son sent me yesterday through his missionary email account. Today I received this email from the MAILER-DAEMON@ldschurch.org. Since it came from the churches mailer-daemon and not mine, something in the internal email system there is not working?. My sons email is correct, ...

Lots of success here in Logan Utah - Cache Valley with Emergency Communications. Using both Ham Radio and GMRS. My stake alone has 40 Amateur Radio operators, with about 15 of them really active and participating on a regular basis. We have focused our efforts on a few of things. 1. Checking on the ...
