I'd say that Yahoo groups, or Google groups is an email group. Now, if he was to use the "group" that's part of his email client, that would be acceptable. Good news I hope.... I have been invited to meet with our Stake Presidency to discuss stake and ward web sites and policies. As the stake web administrator, I have been discouraged by the lack of interest of the wards in keeping their web sites current and encouraging members to register. This meet...

Along the same lines, what we've done is place a PDF of the flyer in the "news" area and send a broadcast email. I think one time I included a link. Funny thing, you don't have to be logged into LUWS to use the link. I have used the "Additional Web Resources" to add links to the TFOT and...

Improved feature not working

The feature on the email broadcast where you could go "back" and edit your post has stopped working. I composed a fairly lengthy post and on preview, I found the usual typos, but when I clicked "back", only the first line appeared on the editing page... I hadn't bothered to make a copy because this ...

Relief Society Conference Web Site

I just found this thread and I think my question fall into this area. Our Stake Relief Society ask me if they could set up a web site to promote their women's conference in February. This would be a one shot site and would be canceled after the conference. I could easily set it up as a page on my we...

Success with geo coding......

Thank you David! Using your very clear instructions, I have created a geo map for our ward. I am still trying to figure all the uses for this, other than to amaze and astound some of the leaders. It is a constant fight to keep leaders interested in the possibilities of the ward website and although ...
