Las Vegas NFS

We have been told that the New FS will be in the Las Vegas temple district in February. I have already received some preliminary posts on this as a Family History Consultant. The latest information is that the nFS will be available in Las Vegas on Saturday, February 23rd, with the temple using the ...

NFS and Reunion software

Is there any problem with using the NFS with the Reunion program for Mac? Our area, (Las Vegas) is scheduled to have access to the NFS in about 2 weeks and I'm sure I will find out the answer then, but I'm just curious about any experience anyone my have already had.

New Trick?

I'm not sure if this is a trick or not, but I have to use it all the time. In sending a broadcast email, when I go to preview, I often find errors in typing or decide I want to change a word. As it is now, when you go back, it erases your message and you have to start over. I have learned to copy t...

This is normal. There really isn't much need for the stake items to show on your administrator calender. If you need to see something to see if it conflicts with a ward event, you can always view the calendar available for the members.

Changing User Name

I have an unusual request from a sister who wants to change her user name. Don't ask why.....it's a long story... Anyway, I haven't been able to figure out how to do this. I know you can change the password but if you click on "forgot user name" it directs you to the administrator, me, to...

PAF For Mac?

Does anyone know anything about the Mac friendly version of PAF that Logan Allred was working on a couple of years ago? I think it might have changed the name to MAF but that is about all I know about it. I was very disappointed when they stopped supporting PAF for Mac several years ago and was hop...

So what is your success rate? How many members have signed up in our unit vs. how many have not? There currently about 130 signed up. I have no way of knowing how many are actively using the site. My goal right now is to work on the leaders. Once I can convince them of the value of he site, then th...

Ideas for signing up members

I do several things to encourage members to sign up: 1 . I have my name with contact information in every ward bulletin. 2 . I enclose a brochure with the bulletin every few months explaining the features of the web site. 3 . I periodically invite myself to the ward council to talk about the web si...
