Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings

How would one go about determining if it is or is not? I'd think the easiest way is to open the overflow into the cultural hall, turn on the sound system and have someone play the organ. See if you can hear it over the speakers in the cultural hall. (Assuming there's no organ speakers in the cultur...

Re: Fast internet upload speed test - but slow Teradek encode rate???

@winjesluck Definitely not the camera, as that is what motivated this exercise. We just got upgraded to new HD camera and building system, and the video looks fantastic locally. Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings

The only issue we have is the organ does not sound good. I know they are tied into the building's sound system, but I am not sure if they are routed to the record out. The organ in older buildings is not tied into the building sound system at all. You are probably hearing the organ speakers through...

Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings

Hello, We are using the record out from the building system, and that is working great. The only issue we have is the organ does not sound good. I know they are tied into the building's sound system, but I am not sure if they are routed to the record out. What has worked for you? Thanks! To get sou...

Re: "Send a Message" Function on LCR

It would appear that an official calling for "communications specialist" exists now and has access to Send a Message.. Not sure when it arrived and I also noticed that when even though we had someone in that exact calling they were not assigned to it. I had to change their calling and dele...

Re: Managed switches

I managed 1,800 Meraki networks with my previous employer and when the church installed Meraki in the meetinghouses I wondered why they didn't also do the switches. I am glad to hear they are doing it. It will surely simplify troubleshooting and loads of other issues that the GSD deals with. I know ...
