I am a website administrator. When I access the ward directory in administrator mode (green screens) and view the page where the member's name is found, I see an e-mail address next to the name that is not greyed out. When I click on the "Registered Users" link and view the page of registered users...

Fix the date format

"which will happen on 2/04/2009."---- Is that 2 March, 2009? --- or is it 4 February, 2009? That quote was from an automatic calendar email. ( A website check showed that it was 4 February). The whole world (except **some** factions of the US) uses the day-month-year sequence, Including "...

Composed

Did you compose the information in a word processor and then paste it into the e-mail message? That looks like the kind of thing that happens when a special hyphen character (not the simple ASCII hyphen) is used. Word processors often create such special characters automatically. If you compose the...

Thanks!

Alan_Brown, Your explanation is very helpful. Our stake has isolated communities well over 400 miles apart (as the crow flies), so we really rely on technology for meetings and other communications. It's really frustrating when we are left wondering if it is working. :( Your reply has given me a way...

Feedback confirmation?

There is an established LUWS feedback mechanism. Ward administrators can use the Feedback link on their LUWS administration page to send feedback to the Stake administrator; I've tried that ---- no way of knowing if it went somewhere other than a black hole. Could it be using the same dubious email...

Betas, user risks, responsibilities

konqueror 3.5.4-12.fc6. "fc.6" indicates it is a beta that is in the Final Candidate stages of development. Generally, the developer thinks he's "got it" --- but knows that the item has been worked only on his hardware and operated from his mindset. It's tossed out to the "Real World" as a Beta--- ...

Thanks ---

You must log in to the site. To do so you must set up an account through LDS Account . Thanks -- success!! Chose "edit" for the category I wanted, then guessed at the purpose of the posting count (choose one specific message that describes the issue --- or total count?) Anyway, it's a fairly short ...

I looked, fumbled around, found MT "help" --- and ran into one "gotta be a sysop here" brick wall ----

Soooo --- just how does a John Q LUWS Admin participate, if included in the invitation? :p
