Ignore the Single Adults? Many of the topics/articles/information that we'll have on the site would be applicable to both YSA and SA. However, the site is targeted at the 18-30 YSAs.

Curiosity: What would you want to see on a church website targeting Single Adults (30+)?

I can't say too much, but it might interest you to know that a church-wide YSA website is in the works. It looks like the event system is going to be awesome. Plus, there's going to be a variety of other features, some of which are still in the planning stages. I cannot speak authoritatively on whet...

So event reminders via multiple channels (twitter, facebook, sms, email. Any others?).
What does that look like? Would you sign up for something like that? How would you sign up for something like that?
What apps/websites should interface with a feature like this?

Any other thoughts? (Dream away)

What is your opinion/take on using these sites? Would it be useful for the church to provide its own version of FB for member use? How else are people using Twitter, Facebook, Orkut, etc. in church callings? Policy and improbability aside, what does everyone else think about a Church social network...

Well, this response is only about a year later... lol The PHP Stack (as it's called now) has an svn repo now. Currently it only does things with with LDSAccount and MLUServices, plus a quick example on using them. I think it would be cool to have LDSTech IDE have a view optimized for PHP. If anyone ...

With that in mind, what are you thinking about? Good ideas generated on these forums do, from time to time, percolate to the top. Yes, there are ears listening. No guarantees that the ideas here will make it "to the top", but it's interesting to note that there will be several social medi...

When my records were mistakenly transferred to a YSA ward a couple of weeks ago, my first indicator that something had happened was the new directory. When I logged on, I could choose to look at /either/ the YSA ward /or/ my family ward's directory - each of those units are in different stakes. Inst...

I saw some church representatives recruiting people at institute for a new tech support call center. It seems they are in the process of moving from Provo to downtown Salt Lake City. I suspect that not everyone has been completely trained and understands everything quite yet. Give them some slack wh...

LUWS Lesson Schedules

So, the new version of LUWS has been progressing quite nicely. We've got the Calendar with Resource Scheduling (still being improved, but already worlds better). We've got the Ward/Stake/Leadership Directory (Hooray! Again, superb.) Both have some messaging capabilities that will be improved as time...
