It seems helpful to have something on each page to specify the report, so that if the pages get separated somehow, they can be easily reassembled. But that could be accomplished in an abbreviated footer, where it would say something like "<unit name> Financial Statement for 1 May 2009 - 31 May...

I'm having a hard time seeing what you are talking about here. There are thick lines betwen each section, and thin lines between each transaction. That is as it should be, in my opinion. Could you give a specific example of where it is "a bit mixed up"? Looking at it again, I guess the on...

An excellent article. About half-way down in the HTML version of this article (at the end of the article in print) this article mentions a talk from Elder Bednar at the May CES fireside: http://lds.org/broadcast/ces/0,7341,538-1-61-1681,00.html They are both a definite must-read for any LDS "te...

I'll echo what most others have said, in that this format seems to be much more pleasing to the eye, but that it will make reconciliation much more difficult. I would definitely suggest that the reconciliation process be taken into consideration. Also, the different major sections do not seem to be ...

It can't be that old. The church not-so-recently went to digital encryption so the hardware has to support that. The manual here seems to indicate it can't be much more than 10 years old. (The first edition of the manual was in 1997.) Good luck with the debugging. Edit: Page 20 in the manual would s...

I would only change "policias" with "politicas" or maybe "normas de la unidad local...". 'Policias' literally means police as in cops -or the band :D Oops. That word definitely escaped my memory. Just an example of why it's usually better to have someone translate into...

Depending upon the type of emergency a cell phone may not be useable. In California our biggest concern here are earthquakes. Quite often immediately following an earthquake the phone lines (and cell phone services) are so swamped with calls that they are often overloaded and when this happens gett...

It's picking nits here, but the donor slips are white. The donors should be keeping the yellow copy for their own records. :D (Oh, and reviewing them is a great idea.)

I don't have experience with membership records (being a finance clerk) but this situation definitely sounds like it warrants a phone call to HQ (or at least a detailed MLS message requesting help). It sounds like there is something weird with the record in question that may not be resolved using re...
