What happens with the new field called "Individual E-mail"? Is it benignly ignored? Also, doesn't the My Ward software use the HomeTeaching.csv and VisitingTeaching.csv files? If it does -- especially if it attempts to link them to content from the Membership.csv file -- I doubt the chang...

MyWard fix for use with MSL 3.1.1 export files

Another option is to fix up the export files each time you export so that they are in the old format. That's clearly a bit of hassle, but it would allow you to continue to use the software you like, while you wait for an update that operates directly on the new export format. Tithing Envelopes with Phone update form on the back.

With the fairly constant changing of phone numbers because of new technologies that cause people to get a different phone number, and more family members having their own phone, it would be a simple way to help encourage members to help ward clerks keep their phone numbers up to date by having a pre...

MLS Companion Database / Ward Tools

With the recent changes in the MLS 3.1.0 and 3.1.1 export csv data format, I found myself looking for a new program/apps for use with MLS export data since the program I was using doesn't seem to have plans to continue support. The two I have chosen are MLS Companion Database for the PC or MAC and i...

Back to Ward Tools ... After some offline correspondence with calvinrg, its founding developer, and spending a lot of time in the application's support group, I think Ward Tools has an exciting future in its new open-source venue. A Windows version of Ward Tools would be great too. We are using Net...

An alternate target for LDSql are "power users" on personal computers, who can use the tables and views as-is to browse and query , import into spreadsheets or generic database programs, etc. But I have not built any user-friendly, front-end application for that. The output of MyWard was ...

Old thread, but for anyone who may stumble across it in the future... While not specifically designed for stake directories, I wrote a program for ward/branches that may be of interest to you. The project is called LDS Compact Directory and can be found here: http://ldscompactdir.sourceforge.net Th...
