I looked up Finance --> Finance Reports --> Donor Statements and it did show the donation as a Charitable contribution. I also went back and pulled up a tithing settlement report for this member and I found I was previously mistaken in that it did not show on the tithing settlement report because I ...

Thanks for the reply Mikerowaved, I went back to the church and pulled up a tithing settlement report for this member and it didn't show the amount that was donated under "Temple (specific) Brigham City" with the rest of the charitable contributions. So I re-alocated the donation to the bu...

Who has the primary responsibility to update callings/positions in MLS

Is there any official policy or training that indicates who has the main responsibility to keep callings/positions entered and updated in MLS?

Or is it up to the bishop to choose to have his exec sec. or ward clerk etc... to update callings/positions?

Is the Ward Clerk Technically a member of the Bishopric?

The question is, who are technically members of the Bishopric? I'm thinking it is just the Bishop and his two councilors based on what I see in the handbook. For example, the past several bishoprics have had the ward clerk read in the names of new members that move into the ward and welcome them in ...

Thanks Alan, That must be it. It use to be that the version number in the top left would include a "b" at the end, for example 2.9.3b, but I have not seen that in quite some time now. I wasn't sure if we were still participating in the beta versions, but apparently we are. I will have to s...

MLS Release/Version 2.9.3 Multiple download/install

I have seen this with prior versions too, but since it happened again with this version, I thought I would see if anyone else is seeing or having the same thing happen and know why. Last week (25Jan2009), MLS version 2.9.3 downloaded and installed during a send and receive and said to rebo...

However, it was not until 11:20am on December 30 that a Church employee finally posted that the cutoff time would actually be at midnight that very night. If you read the subsequent posts in this thread, you can see that you are not the only one who was frustrated that the notification came so late...
