I have not been able to determine what the current policy is, but it seems like every time I sit down in front of my computer to use lds.org (oftentimes multiple times in a single day), I have to login again. With all of the useful services available on the website now, I find myself using it more ...

I'm not a contributor (yet), and haven't picked a project to focus on. Still, I like the idea of helping out. I'm mildly concerned that the "Individual Contributor's License Agreement" submission page (including name, address, and phone) is submitted via unsecure HTTP. I realize packet sn...

This is my first post since the change to LDS account. Since my LDS account name is different from the name I was using here, I'm not sure how I will be identified here now. ...and, now I know. I suppose nobody will recognize me now. Apparently, you added a profile pic that would help us out! Thank...

Hi, I'm excited to see all of the new features that are being rolled out on LDS.org -- especially with respect to scripture study and the personalization. I also use Gospel Library on my iPhone and was wondering if there were any plans to have functionality to sync highlights / notes / etc between ...

I think the concern is that with a 3rd party app, especially a closed source app, you can't be sure of what it may be doing with the information. It might be (innocently but inappropriately) temporarily storing it on a 3rd party server or it might be (maliciously) capturing sensitive data and forwa...

It appears that the LDSTech RSS feed available from the Home page does not have all of the content that I would expect it to. For instance, it doesn't appear to have the two latest articles about the Talent Profile and the LDSAccount Migration and site redesign.

Sure, I understand all that. But my impression was that the web services were going to be restricted to Community projects. Do you know if that has changed by design, or is the security of the API just not finished? As I said above, this is less significant today because the content being dissemina...

Is that json output going to remain available to end-users with LDS Account credentials, or will it be restricted to Community developers? I'm guessing it's the service used by the various mobile apps created by the community volunteer developers. However, I imagine the mobile apps all use the LDSA...

Looking at those earlier release notes, I see that the particular change I was most interested in -- the dropping of the MRN from the export files -- was not mentioned anyway. http://lds.org/scriptures/nt/luke/18.1-8?lang=eng#1 Moral of the story: stay persistent. Church developers will say you &qu...
