Lack of "BIC" designation does not necessarily, or even usually, imply adoption. It can only definitively designate one thing: Born In the Covenant. "Date Sealed To Parents" covers all other scenarios, of which adoption is only one of many.

I have encouraged all clerks I have trained to follow the Family History place naming conventions as used in new.FamilySearch.org of Town/City, County/Parish, State/Province, Country. For example: Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States; Provo, Utah, Utah, United States; Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahom...

I'm sure the re-design of the sacrament trays will occur as soon as there is a major contagious outbreak of something or other that is tried to the scenario you describe. Until then, I believe there is safety in statistical probability and regular parental instruction of children.

My theory is that the iPad tries to call the mothership whenever a new connection is created by pinging or sending some sort of information to apple.com. when the church firewall sees the URL "apple.com" it blocks the content and disconnects the device from the connection. I don't know ab...

That should load (or re-load) your events ...

Sorry to resurrect and old thread. I came poking around to see if the 1997 version of the LDS Scouting Handbook was the most current. BTW, it bears mentioning that one of the comprehensive manuals listed on mormonscouting.com was assembled by consortium of (I think) 7 Stake Presidencies. Seven SPs f...

There is now an option for Stake Admins to 'turn off' the classic calendar and directory. But apparently not a way for Ward Admins to "turn off" the calendar and directory at the ward level. Most likely our unit will have to wait until the end of 2011 for the classic calendar and director...

I kept experiencing pauses in the stream of about 15-20 seconds each time. My guess is that something was wrong with a given packet and it had to be refetched. While the stream never lost its place or skipped around, it did create some interesting "cliff hangers" in several of the talks wh...
