So you are telling me to replace my clean data with CHQs bad data and then spend my time cleaning up their mess (again). Last time I did a refresh I was still finding and fixing their mess a month later. I don't think so, CHQ can either keep or fix their own mess. I have enough headache still tryin...

I hope the stream is (or will eventually be) HTML5 compatible. Being able to stream General Conference to an iPad2 and then use its new video mirroring to feed a VGA or HDTV projector, along with feeding the audio system from the iPad2's headphone jack , seems like compelling option. It remains to b...

But I would note that this exact sentence is also in Handbook 2 (see section 21.2.10 ). Since I don't have access to Handbook 1, I find it interesting to note that the Handbook 2 reference states: Taking photographs or making video recordings in chapels is not permitted. Meetings and other events t...

Picking at nits here, but as I read it they appear to be making a distinction between a Webcast and a broadcast. I would take that to mean that if I use the Church's Webcasting service I am within policy. If I use some other means that is more easily accessible to the general public--such as Youtube...

Actually, a donation from a nonmember to fund scout activities might not be a problem, according to Handbook 2 section 8.17.3.RussellHltn wrote:I don't think the endorsement is a problem. However, the donation may be.

Any recurring appointments are now showing the wrong time on the calendar. I haven't noticed this problem (and I am in U.S. Central Time Zone). However, I speculate that 1 or 2 things might have occurred: 1. A recurring event from the old calendar was imported to the new calendar and didn't make th...

Of interest, this would only apply if the baptismal candidate is 8 years old. If the candidate is 9 or older, it is the mission president who would be applying to the First Presidency for an exception, if the exception is not already covered in his Mission Presidents Handbook. What if the baptism w...

One way to work around this is to enter and save the event at a slightly different time, and then using Week view (instead of Month view), drag the event to the correct time slot. The only event I haven't been able to correct using this method is the event marking the beginning of Daylight Saving Ti...
