Meetinghouse Internet Implementation Plan 3

I am posting the document Meetinghouse Internet Implementation Plan3 I got from our FM Group who got it from the Church's Physical Facilities Department. It provides all the information associated with the 8 August 2008 [url=http://www.lds.org/Static%20Files/PDF/STS/Letters/English/08058_000_notice[...

So MLS doesn't require the password to be changed when it's entered by the Admin? I don't understand what you are saying (or asking) here. Are you saying that when the Admin enters his password his password should be changed? I think I'm missing a train of thought here. So it's possible that the Ad...

Some of the most common budget categories are aligned with the unit auxiliaries because they are the ones who will need funding to support their programs, supplies and activities. Off the top of my head some of the most common budget categories are Young Men, Young Women, Primary, Relief Society, El...

Thanks for your inputs. Do you have a contact you could provide me at the FM who might know about who did the installation, and/or what was done? Or a contact name from that era of the leadership that might have known about it? What is the building type into which the system was installed? (Is ther...

 Your assumption and investiagation work is right. I have done a Ipconfig on the clerks computer and we do have a dhcp address from the ASA router. That would have require two way communication. I also took cat 5 cable and connect direct to the WNHDE111 with same results as the wireless. ...

I surmise your wireless network configuration is as follows. One Netgear wireless access point is connected to the Cisco ASA router and is setup and acting as the 'root' WAP. The second Netgear WAP is on the other side of the building acting as a 'repeater' WAP for the clerk computer. Is this correc...

Now I am red faced. I appologize for the diatribe based on a false interpretation. When I saw "... burn them to CD ..." I only saw "video". The format MP3 should have keyed me to audio, but it didn't at the time.

I appologize for the error.

OK. BTW - the OptiPlex 740 installed in one of the newer wards here a couple of years ago also probably doesn't have it, as we used the same process as with the GX270's to prep for the Internet connection, and it too does NOT have the issues reported here. I'll go away now ... Sorry eyoungberg. I d...

Video Recordings in Chapels

I have seen in other threads in a variety of LDSTech forums well intentioned people discussing video recordings of sacrament meetings. The most recent post that said outright that the sacrament meeting was recorded is in the Announcements forum in the thread Submit Your Online Tech Talk Questions . ...
