Re: How to reimage a clerk computer

I have an older windows 7 clerk computer that needs to be re-imaged. I think the Global Services Department was thinking that if your computer is five years old, the FM Group should be replacing it. I do not believe you will find a Win 7 image. On the other hand, a while ago Win 7 computers were su...

That would be wonderful. Please include whether or not you needed to use the high bandwidth setting when the Webcast event was scheduled.

Re: Sharing out experience with Virtual Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts

How did you connect the phone to the Internet? The Liahona WiFi, although the app can use most any method you have available. It was designed to use "WiFi, EDGE, 3G, LTE and 5G". ... I hope to have a document showing the setting I used posted tonight. Outstanding. I have my recommendation...

Re: Sharing out experience with Virtual Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts

I was able to do a successful broadcast over the church webcast system using my old cell phone (Pixel 1) and the Larix Broadcaster app. That's right, just a cell phone on a tripod. It doesn't get much simpler then that. How did you connect the phone to the Internet? WiFi? Hot Spot? Regular data ove...

Re: Audio System Line out has distortion/clipping

I'm missing something. Not at all. I was thinking that I would need a special audio cable if I used a cell phone. I understand why you had one and that you believe moving the phone closer to the podium will allow the phone microphone to be used. I hope that is true and I expect it to be so. And thi...

Re: Insufficient Permissions to run MLS

I understand the theory. I do not know exactly which keys to press to make it happen. I thought at first the problem was because two units were using the machine, but both of them have the same problem. Perhaps MLS was installed under a third Admin account?

It would be so much easier if the cell phone could provide both the video and the audio.

Re: Managed switches

If I had more than 4 WAPs, I would pull the online instructions from the manufacturer and figure out the POE issue. I have not done that because (1) it is not an issue for me, and (2) I have seen four different 8-port model numbers in various instructions and other communications I have received. My...

Nope. It just has not had a very high priority.
