Does the managed switch supply power to the WAPS? I must have missed that somewhere. That is good news, since all of the WAPS are required to be plugged into the managed switch after the reconfiguration.

Re: Can't Access Finances Section

Any known fix or should I just wait to call Church Global Services on Monday? The file should have been set automatically, and you should be able to get it right after it is set. If you have done several Send/Receives and have not received the file, your only option is to call the Global Services D...

Re: Managed switches

I just did a network inventory. We currently have: - One old Meraki firewall. You will keep the firewall. You will add the managed switch in line right after the firewall. The WAPS will plug directly into the new managed switch, along with the HVAC or other facility cable. The old unmanaged switch ...

Re: Managed switches

I was able to revert to the old switch and get everything working again but now what? As STS, you should be able to install the new managed switch. Instructions are at the Help Center. Go to this page and scroll down to Meetinghouse Switches. The Meetinghouse Meraki Managed Switch Installation Guid...

Re: Historical Mission Boundaries Map

Okay. I understand now. Of course, one of the challenges is that someone who served in the Eastern States Mission, for example, may have been at the mission home once or twice in two and a half or three years, but served the most time in a totally different state. But I believe it is an excellent id...

Zoom is simple but has a monthly fee that the unit needs to pay from its budget.
Google Meet is free to local units.
Church headquarters uses both.
Russellhltn's statement applies to Google Meet, as well.

I doubt it. I do not know, but I would guess the app is simply using the text system on the phone.

Doesn't the Comtek system include a lot of audio processing, including automatic gain control? That would account for much of the noise.

Re: Historical Mission Boundaries Map

Is it proper then to refer to the current mission name for the area most like the formerly named mission in FamilySearch? I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do. But with the Church News archives, including its no longer published Almanac, it is not difficult to figure out the former names...

As a practical matter, and I have not experimented with this, am I able to set up 13 Church webcasts on the same day with five of them having overlapping times?
