Re: Scriptures as a Service (API for LDS Scriptures)

I am always intrigued by some of the things my children notice and comment on as they read the scriptures. I do not think I would really be bothered if they could share their notes with me. Last I checked, there were scriptures and there were notes, two separate things in the app, even though they a...

Re: Blank Screens

I can duplicate it, but I cannot duplicate it consistently. I will pay more attention and see if I am able to figure out what is triggering it.

It has been happening for a long time, and continues in the 5.3.0 beta.

Re: Blank Screens

Under the Screens tab. When you click on the Bookmark icon, there are three tabs, Bookmarks, Screens, and History. The Screens tab always has the current screen and usually has a bunch of blank screens, as well. When I went two weeks once without checking, there were more than a dozen blanks, all ea...

Blank Screens

Why does GL leave behind so many blank screens? After a week of normal use, I will have a dozen or so left behind. Sometimes I delete all of them, but they come back. The longer I go between deletion, the more blank screens there are to delete. And they gather quietly whether or not I even use the S...

Re: scripture marking/highlighting

If you will go to the iPhone/iPad Gospel Library section of the Forum and ask your question there, someone may be able to help you. It may be something as simple as using a long press, but I use an Android phone, not an iPhone, so I do not know for certain. Someone there probably will know the answe...

Re: List of high school seniors

So it raises the question who determines the seminary status of a person? Is it automated based on dob or is there a manual component to it? I believe that the best way is to have (or find someone who has) access to the Seminary registration system. Their reports are by grade, and it would be a sim...

You are looking for the Ward and Branch Organization Application form. Your stake will know how to obtain the form if the application cannot be made online (most can). See Handbook 1, 9.1.1 for details.

Re: Access Points Keep Failing

If you can, something you might try is reboot the APs and see if that helps. But let me guess, that's also in the attic. Well, there's always the main building power. <evil grin> At my age, I do not do ladders and attics. The power injectors for the WAPs should be located with the firewall and the ...

Re: Columns Missing

Can we have those columns added back to the report. Why would they have been removed? I am not sure what columns you speak of. Perhaps it is because there is no longer a home teaching program in the church, there is no home teaching statistics report, and group leaders were replaced with Elders Quo...

Access Points Keep Failing

After the firewall was rebooted four or five times this afternoon, it lost track of the WiFi access points. Is there a way to help it find them again? Meraki firewall, Meraki access points. The GSC will not help me because the APs are in the attic and I cannot see the lights on them. They are requir...
