Re: Change in Recording Sacrament Meeting Attendance

One of the pitfalls I've seen is trying to average an average. With the usual caveat that I have no clue (always a safe assumption) and that I have no computer programming skills (some may disagree), how about this? Each Sunday that an attendance number is reported, throw that number into Bucket A....

Who knows? The number of members in each circle does not match the number of names on the list.

I agree that longer messages should go in email and Gospel Living circles are designed for shorter messages.

Character Limit for Circles Post

I was wondering if there is a character limit for a Circles post. Some bishops has been sending lengthy emails using the Send a Message function at Leader and Clerk Resources. They have said they would rather use the new Adults circle at Gospel Living because they believe more members would see thei...

Re: Change in Recording Sacrament Meeting Attendance

Thank you Ryan for the additional context. I figured the potential number was somehow average-based since it didn't match the monthly Unit Statistics counts. I am sorry to have misled you. Usually I am pretty much up to speed on things they have actually told us. [grin] And my condolences that your...

Re: Remote Temple Recommend Interviews

Our leaders had the same question. That document was posted at the Church Newsroom, and is definitely official. But it never seems to have made it to the Official Communication Library, so most of our leaders never saw it.

Re: Non-Member minor records

Following the General Handbook guidance provided by jdlessley, the records would become eligible for removal when each individual reaches age 18 and then the proper procedure was followed. The only exception would be if they should have been removed during the name removal of the mother, in which ca...

Re: Change in Recording Sacrament Meeting Attendance

Do you mean: Unbaptized members of record age 9 and over and those baptized but not confirmed are not included in unit statistics or Quarterly Reports. If so, none of the numbers I was looking at included the 1 person that falls into that category. I've been using the Unit Statistics report run at ...

Re: Change in Recording Sacrament Meeting Attendance

I think I'm having the most difficulty with potential attendance count. When I said potential is the number of membership records you had on March 31, I forgot a small detail, sorry. From that number, subtract the number of Members of Record Age 9 or Older. Does that work? The only other thing I ca...

Re: Change in Recording Sacrament Meeting Attendance

Anyone have hints on how 2020 Q1 report average sacrament meeting actual and potential attendance were calculated? Potential is the number of membership records at the end of the quarter, i.e., March 31. Does attendance work if you average every Sunday reported during the quarter, not just March? D...

Re: Visibility for other wards

President Monson had a pretty good talk in a closed meeting talking about the stuff that comes up to the First Presidency to ratify because something was done out of order. He actually said a lot of that in a priesthood meeting at General Conference. High councilors represent the stake presidency, ...
