Re: Getting E-mails saying I requested PW reset-but didn't

Thanks. A tedious effort to get some progress going on it, but thanks.

Re: Delete LDS Account

Thank you for the information — good stuff. Regarding the “third-party apps harvesting names”: regardless of whether or not “I” wanted or needed the app (I didn’t, but those who wanted the Teflon church experience of going to the temples with a name would), their existence seemed to be a security th...

Re: Is there a way to create records for unbaptized children over 8?

There used to be a way in MLS. There is an adult child (not accountable due to a childhood accident) who wasn’t showing up in the directories, and essentially unknown the quorums or auxiliaries or the bishopric. This also meant he would never be able to receive a temple recommend when his parents wo...

Re: Delete LDS Account

I appreciate the response. I am aware of the consequences of deleting my LDS Account. I no longer do family history because I'm at the point (1400's/1500's) where documentation and proof are suspect at best, so I don't feel that deletion would be a problem as I no longer would be able to be confide...

Re: Getting E-mails saying I requested PW reset-but didn't

It means that someone has stepped into a back door that sysadmins aren’t interested in solving (see above response by an admin). I’ve tried to call and report this, but wasn’t elevated even though I asked to speak to a supervisor — amateurs answering the phones? Seriously? I’ve thought and debated w...

Re: Calendar won't scroll in Safari

One suggestion via feedback from the church's website was to zap the browser's history and cache and cookies. That, to me, is like using a howitzer for removal of a splinter. Re-establishing all those Web sites ... sigh. Not as painful as you might think. The only thing I see memorized is the login...

Re: Calendar won't scroll in Safari

This turned out to be a Safari bug caused by Apple, that we haven't been able to fix on our end and reported to Apple. However, complaints have seemed to disappear. Hopefully they made a fix. Try upgrading Safari or your IOS if you can. At this point, on iPadOS, only the monthly view won't scroll. ...

Re: Calendar won't scroll in Safari

I’ve received a notice from folk at the feedbacks site that say it’s fixed.
It’s not fixed, for an iPad.
