Re: Digital Area Book

There's already the New and Returning Member report, which I'm not sure anybody in our stake is using (I'm the stake clerk). It's only accessible by bishopric or stake presidency members, as far as I can tell, and the people who would fill it out and use its contents (RS/EQ/HP/WML) don't have access...

Re: Duplicate Entries in Study Notebook

This problem still exists. My entries, once I re-arrange them, are multiplying like cursed goblets in Gringott's :-(

I'm creating the journal on-line, Safari browser.

Re: NOT marking records "Do Not Contact" or DNC

aebrown, are you saying that the current directive is that section of the Handbook, or the 2009 directive? I'm saying that the current policy is in the Handbook 2 Section 5.3 that I quoted, and that the 2009 directive gives us direction on a specific clerical detail regarding that policy. I see no ...

Re: 2013 audit questions and answers

(Sorry, mistyped the LUFAS) I ended up having to complete it in English for the Spanish-speaking bishop.

Re: NOT marking records "Do Not Contact" or DNC

That particular MLS message was simply a reminder to avoid some specific clerical practices that are contrary to that overarching directive to "strive continually to help" and to "continue to minister." Well, the problem I'm seeing in our stake is where clerks (not sure when or ...

Re: NOT marking records "Do Not Contact" or DNC

Once I submitted this, I searched for DNC instead of "Do Not Contact" and finally saw all the hits.

NOT marking records "Do Not Contact" or DNC

In previous MIS/MLS instructions, or handbooks (sorry, it's been a while), there was a warning about tagging members with DNC or "Do Not Contact". Can anyone resurrect or find that? I'm a stake clerk, and I've found a member record in one of our wards with that included in the member's nam...

Re: 2013 audit questions and answers

In our stake, we have two Spanish-language units. Does LUCAS and the electronic signature cycle for audits only support English?

Re: Duplicate Entries in Study Notebook

I'm going to try the remedy suggested above: copying the items to a new notebook/journal. User artoo00 's remedy worked fine (for some reason, every item added to the "new" entry goes to the top of the list in the notebook instead of the bottom, so going "in order" through one n...

Re: Duplicate Entries in Study Notebook

I have the same problem -- duplication of entries -- it's like I touched a cursed item in the Lestrange vault at Gringott's: duplication, duplication, and duplication. At least the duplicated items don't get hot and make a lot of noise. They're not trying to kill me, but they're murdering the talk I...
