Moving a record when don't know destination
I have a Bishop asking to move out records in his ward. It's a student ward, and they have a lot of records for people they can't find. Does anyone have a link to the 2012 list of steps you take to move a member? I think it was circa 2012 but links I've found to it are broken. If they follow all the...

Changing birth parent to adoptive parent
A family in our ward recently adopted a child. We changed the last name of the children, but the father is still listed as the birth father.
How do we change the parent to be the adoptive father?

Find a member
We have a long-time inactive member in our ward, and she doesn't know where her record is. I have a name and birthdate, but nothing else. I'm a stake clerk and don't seem to be able to use the membership tools (it appears only ward clerks can?) How do I go about finding this member's record? Or do I...

What happens when mail is sent to the meetinghouse?
If snail mail is addressed to the church meetinghouse, where does it go? I checked with the agent bishop and the other bishop in the building and it doesn't end up with them. I'm wondering if it is a 'return to sender' situation. A member had a third party send mail via the US Postal service address...

Please don't adjust the start/end mtg. time when I'm editing
My single biggest pain point with the calendar is that when you adjust the start/end time, it tries to be 'helpful' and adjusts the other. For instance, if I have a mtg that runs from 9:00am-10:00am, and I change the start to 9:30am, it changes the end time to 10:30pm. When I'm entering the stake ca...

Finding a stake president from long ago
We recently had a reconvened disciplinary council and I'm trying to locate a Stake President and Bishop who served over 28 years ago. I have the name of the stake and ward, and unit numbers from back then, and have looked through CDOL, but no luck. Is this going to be impossible or are there other t...

Change building a ward is assigned to
Our Stake recently underwent a boundary change. A new unit, the Bear Creek Ward (in the Redmond WA Stake), is associated with the wrong building. I went to Unit settings but didn't see anything that would let me change the address for that unit. The Bear Creek ward meets at the Stake Center but list...
